The 18th European Conference on Machine Learning (ECML) and the 11th European Conference
on Principles and Practice of Knowledge Discovery in Databases (PKDD) were co-located
in Warsaw, Poland, from September 17th to 21st, 2007. The combined event comprised of
presentations of contributed papers and invited talks, a wide program of workshops and
tutorials, discovery challenge and industrial track. ECML/PKDD 2007 Proceedings are published
by Springer Verlag in the LNAI series.
