The ECML/PKDD 2007 conference  took place at Warsaw University Central Campus.

The campus is located in downtown Warsaw, close to the historical part of the City.

The lectures, workshops and tutorial took place in the Old Library building, one of historical buildings on campus, recently renovated and converted to modern conference centre.
The conference venue is fully accesible for disabled persons.

        Poster session venue

The ECML and PKDD evening poster sessions and receptions on September 18 (Tuesday) and 20 (Thursday) took place in the Staszic Palace. Staszic Palace is one of the best known historical locations in the old part of Warsaw. It is also the seat of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
The Staszic Palace is located almost next door (approx. 300 meters) from the conferece venue.

        Welcome reception venue

The welcome reception on Monday, September 17 took place in the building of the Museum of John Paul II Collection, better known as Porczyński Foundation Gallery. The Gallery is located in downtown Warsaw, within short walking distance (ca. 20 min.) from conference veue.

        Banquet venue

The Conference Banquet on Wednesday evening (September 19) took place in the Zachęta National Gallery of Art. Zachęta National Gallery of Art is the oldest exhibition site in Warsaw, with a tradition stretching back to the mid 19th Century.
The Zachęta building is located very close to the conference venue and can be reached on foot in less than 10 minutes. Two exhibitions presented in the upper level of  the gallery were open to conference participants during banquet.
